Aliya Iskhakova is a pianist from Russia representing Tatar nation. She was born in nonmusical family but in a very early age showed big interest to the music. At the age of 7 Aliya started to take piano lessons at musical schools of Kazan. From the beginning she demonstrated outstanding musical abilities. In 2006 Aliya enters Kazan musical college to the class of distinguished teacher Era Sayfullina. Under the leading of Mrs. Sayfullina Aliya becomes a laureate of National and International competitions in Kazan, Yoshkar-Ola and Saint-Petersburg. She also receives special scholarships from the government of Republic of Tatarstan as a promising young talent. In 2010 Aliya graduates from college with honors and enters to Kazan State conservatory. Here she studies with famous Russian pianist and professor Evgeniy Mikhaylov who is known as a specialist in Russian music of the 20th century and especially of music of Alexandr Scriabin. At this period Aliya starts to perform in concerts and festivals. In 2012 and 2014 she wins international piano competitions in Estonia and France. In 2015 Aliya graduates with honors from Kazan conservatory. She was distinguished by the chair of exam commission Alexandr Bonduryanski as «a mature artist with deep understanding of the music». After completing her studies in Kazan Aliya moves to the Netherlands. Here she obtains 2 master degrees from Codarts and Amsterdam conservatory under the leading of Bart van de Roer and Naum Grubert. In 2015 Aliya wins 2d prize at the Young Pianist Foundation piano competition named after Youri Egorov. This becomes a turning point in her career. She starts to give concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and take a part in international festivals such as Storioni chamber music festival, Holland festival, Grachtenfestival and others.
